Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We went to the Remer side in the morning to visit for a while. We asked Melissa {sister-in-law} if she would take some pictures of us together. It's not the best but what can you do with a 6 month old and a almost 2 year old with a mind of her own.
Thank you Melissa for taking them for us.

I did get some of each kiddo alone.

Then we went to the Shelton side and had Thanksgiving Lunch/Dinner. It was nice to visit with all the family, and let the cousins all play together. Sorry no pictures from there. I got busy and forgot to take more pictures with all the eating and talking.

The rest of our weekend was busy too.

Friday we got all of our Thanksgiving decorations put away and got Christmas out. It was an all day project. Then first thing Saturday morning we started on decorating the outside of the house. It too was an all day project and we are still not done. I will post pictures when it is done and all the lights work. It makes you crazy when you spend all day checking the lights to make sure they work, hang them up, then when the timer comes on only half your lights work. We still need to figure out why only half work.

Sunday was not that great of a day. Ashley woke us up at 5:30 a.m. to tell us Ally was getting sick. She did that for most of the day. I hate when little ones feel so bad.
Later in the day she did feel a little better so we decorated the Christmas tree. Since Aubrey couldn't help she watched from her little saucer thing. I think she was just happy to do that.

Here are a couple of Ally waiting for us to get everything ready.

Then the kids started decorating the tree. Ally really wasn't that sure about it but tried. I think she wanted to take the ornaments off the tree instead.

Then Ally found some bubble wrap. She decided it was more fun to pop it than to decorate the tree. She sat there for a while trying to pop each and every one.

All of them together in front of a almost finished tree. We still need to hang up some ornaments on the top of the tree since the kids can't reach up there. I guess I should say Guy still needs to since I can't reach either it's a 9 foot tree.

Have a Happy Tuesday and I hope all of you stay healthy because I think this sick thing is going to get everyone in this house.{Guy got it last night}
