Sad News

Ashley came home from school yesterday with some sad news, her teacher has been diagnosed with cancer. He went in for an ear infection over the summer and the doctor said, “You’re 42, why don’t we do some blood work just to check your health.”

He has Multiple Myeloma, cancerous plasma cells are found in the bone marrow. It is an incurable but treatable disease. He will start chemotherapy next week and if things go well have a stem cell transplant over the summer. He is hoping with this the cancer will be in remission for 2-5 years. He plans to continue teaching as normal. He is a great, outgoing, upbeat teacher. He has taught Ashley so many neat things this year besides her regular school work.

We ask that you our family and friends keep him, his family and his students in your thoughts and prayers.

You're in our thoughts and
prayers Mr. Hancock!

No Stopping Her Now!

Tonight while I was at a scrapbooking class Aubrey
pulled herself up to the coffee table for the first time.
I can't believe she did it and I missed it.
She is growing up so fast.
Before long she will be walking and getting
into everything more than she does now.

I guess there's no stopping her now!

Thanks for the pictures Ashley & Bryce♥

Two Tired Girls

When they're tired, they're tired!

Last weekend while we were cleaning the house,
Aubrey was in her swing.
I came in and found her like this....

She was asleep sucking on the tail of the seal.
She was so tired.
Now the scrapbooker in me had to get a picture
{more like 5 because the swing was on}
before I laid her back, so she could take her nap.

Then....

Yesterday while I was gone getting my hair done.
Guy took this picture of Ally.
{A man married to a scrapbooker}

She fell asleep watching TV with Ashley & Bryce
while sitting in Aubrey's car seat.
She had been outside playing all
morning and drinking hot chocolate.
It's hard work playing outside!

Oh, to be a kid again and fall asleep
whenever and wherever you want☺

Dance and more Dance!

Friday morning Ally went to her first dance class.
It is a Tap, Ballet and Tumbling class through the Gilbert Parks & Rec. She was so excited to finally get to wear her dance outfit and her tap shoes. I wasn't able to get any pictures of her dancing yet. I will have to wait until the end of the session when they let the parents come in and watch. I did peek in the window to make sure she was OK. She was at the bar with all the other little girls doing their shuffles. It was so cute!

Then.....

Friday night Ashley's Hip~Hop Company Class danced
at The Harlem Globetrotters games. This is the second year
they have performed before the game. While we were waiting for the dancers to perform they had the Globetrotters University. This is were 3 Globetrotters come out and tell you about the history of the team and do fun things with us {the parents and family of the dancers}. They did something new this year they let you go down and get your picture with a Globetrotter. Bryce was one of the first ones down there.

Bryce and Wildkat
Then Ashley's class performed

It was a fun night, but a long week with extra practices
on top of her regular dance classes.

Happy Monday

Aubrey & Sisterly Love!

Aubrey is growing up so fast in the last two weeks
she is sitting up by her self, cut her 1st tooth,
and got her hair in 2 ponies{first time yesterday}.

I think she looks so much older with two ponies.

{Go to bed Monday night no scratch on face then
wake up with one Tuesday morning. Makes me crazy!}

While I was taking Aubrey’s picture Ally wanted to be in it too!

{Sisterly Love}

I'm not sure Aubrey was having the best time but Ally was.
I hope they grow up to be more than just Sisters.
I hope they are
Best Friends!
