Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We went to the Remer side in the morning to visit for a while. We asked Melissa {sister-in-law} if she would take some pictures of us together. It's not the best but what can you do with a 6 month old and a almost 2 year old with a mind of her own.
Thank you Melissa for taking them for us.

I did get some of each kiddo alone.

Then we went to the Shelton side and had Thanksgiving Lunch/Dinner. It was nice to visit with all the family, and let the cousins all play together. Sorry no pictures from there. I got busy and forgot to take more pictures with all the eating and talking.

The rest of our weekend was busy too.

Friday we got all of our Thanksgiving decorations put away and got Christmas out. It was an all day project. Then first thing Saturday morning we started on decorating the outside of the house. It too was an all day project and we are still not done. I will post pictures when it is done and all the lights work. It makes you crazy when you spend all day checking the lights to make sure they work, hang them up, then when the timer comes on only half your lights work. We still need to figure out why only half work.

Sunday was not that great of a day. Ashley woke us up at 5:30 a.m. to tell us Ally was getting sick. She did that for most of the day. I hate when little ones feel so bad.
Later in the day she did feel a little better so we decorated the Christmas tree. Since Aubrey couldn't help she watched from her little saucer thing. I think she was just happy to do that.

Here are a couple of Ally waiting for us to get everything ready.

Then the kids started decorating the tree. Ally really wasn't that sure about it but tried. I think she wanted to take the ornaments off the tree instead.

Then Ally found some bubble wrap. She decided it was more fun to pop it than to decorate the tree. She sat there for a while trying to pop each and every one.

All of them together in front of a almost finished tree. We still need to hang up some ornaments on the top of the tree since the kids can't reach up there. I guess I should say Guy still needs to since I can't reach either it's a 9 foot tree.

Have a Happy Tuesday and I hope all of you stay healthy because I think this sick thing is going to get everyone in this house.{Guy got it last night}

Happy Birthday! & 6 month Check up

Happy 36th Birthday Guy!
You are the BEST.....
.....Husband, Dad, Son, Friend....

We love you very much and thank you for everything you do for us.

{These pictures are from Friday, they had Donuts with Dad at the school}

Also today Aubrey had her 6 month check up. She is doing great except for getting 5 shots. She's wasn't very happy about that part. She weights 16.5 pounds {60%}, her height is 27 1/2 inches{97%} and her head circumference is 17 1/2 {90%}. As you can tell from her numbers she is growing like a weed or should I say a LARGE weed.

After we got home, I just left her in her seat to sleep.

I already felt so bad for her, I couldn't wake her up.

Happy Monday, I'm off to take care of this little one!

Aubrey Elizabeth

It's hard to believe Aubrey is 6 months old today.
Why do they grow up so fast? She is starting to scoot all over.
It won't be long and she will be crawling everywhere.
She doesn't care for baby food, but we are working on it.
Aubrey is such a fun loving, easy going, happy baby
and she smiles all the time.

We love her so much and she makes our family complete!

NASCAR

Yesterday Guy and Bryce went to the NASCAR NEXTEL CUP RACE at PIR. It's what Bryce wanted for his birthday which was in September so he had to wait a little while. They got up early and left at 6:30 a.m. The race didn't start until 1:30 p.m. but there was a bunch of different things for them to do. First they hit all the big haulers and went shopping. They came home with some new NASCAR stuff for all of us.

By the SPEED Channel stage.

Next to Jr.'s car

Next to Stewart's car.

Sitting on Johnson's car.

They went to The Home Depot booth. Bryce got to sit in the car and they took his picture.{Plus dad took it} I guess it will be online or emailed to us, I'm not sure.

They had a workshop set up for the kids. Bryce got a Home Depot apron and made a stool. {Home Depot booth with Orange tarp=Orange pictures for mom!}

What do you get when you let a 8 year old boy have the camera at the race.

I will tell you......

..... 7 pictures of Johnson's car all the same.....

...... 11 pictures of the PIR tower all the same.....

..... 9 pictures of this car and it doesn't even race....

..... 17 different pictures of the Good Year Blimp.....

..........and last but not least........

....a great picture of his DAD!

Well Tony Stewart, Dale Jr. or Clint Bowyer didn't win. Jimmie Johnson won again for the 4th week in a row, that's OK we like him too. But seeing the smile on this face is PRICELESS!

Happy Monday as I leave you with that!

Hannah Montana

Last night we went to the Hannah Montana concert. We had so much fun! My BFF Connie and her daughter Mykah also went. The girls were so EXCITED plus all the other hundred screaming girls.

Ashley & Mykah while we were
waiting in line to get them a shirt.
The Jonas Brothers opened for Hannah Montana.
We didn't get to see much of them because we were waiting in line so long for the shirts. I think the girls were OK with that.
Next was Hannah Montana!
{Lots and lots of pictures to follow!}

Hannah came down in the cage.

Ashley in her new Hannah shirt.

Ashley singing and yelling along with everyone else.

And now we bring you Miley Cyrus!

Now she sang all of her Miley songs. {No blonde wig}

Then they both sang at the some time!

Hannah was a video that they played and Miley sang live.

The Best of Both Worlds!

{The name of the tour}

Then it was time to say Goodnight and Goodbye!

Our little photo shoot!

It was a fun night. I'm so happy that Ashley and I got to make such a great memory together. I'm sure she will remember going to her FIRST concert forever. Having Connie and Mykah there too made it even better. I know these two will be talking about this for many years to come.
